When I first thought of traveling solo, I wanted a destination that was safe, beautiful, and not too far. Shimla immediately came to my mind because of its natural beauty, calm atmosphere, and accessibility from my city. I started researching the best time to visit, and decided on [insert month] because of the pleasant weather.
I booked my bus tickets online and chose a budget-friendly hotel close to Mall Road, so I could walk around easily. For planning, I used apps like MakeMyTrip, Google Maps, and YouTube vlogs to learn what places to explore. I also made a checklist of what to pack – warm clothes, thermals, power bank, basic medicines, and of course, my camera to capture everything!
This was my first time planning a trip completely on my own, and it felt exciting as well as a bit challenging. But once the bookings were done, I felt more confident and ready for the journey.
